Work with me

Healing from trauma is deeply personal, and finding the right support is key. Many turn to somatic therapy only after talk therapy reaches its limits.

Cognitive therapies like CBT engage the thinking brain, which often shuts down during trauma. Body-based approaches work from the bottom up, helping you reconnect with the visceral effects of trauma and process them where they originate—in the nervous system, where fight-or-flight responses are stored.

Yoga therapy sessions are tailored to your unique needs, creating a safe and compassionate space where you can reconnect with your body, release stored tension, and rebuild a sense of inner stability. My approach is grounded in trauma-sensitive yoga, designed to gently guide you toward healing at your own pace—without force, expectation, or pressure.

Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), is better thought of as an evidence-based intervention for trauma rather than a 'type' of yoga. TCTSY can be particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing somatic dissociation, PTSD, or the effects of sexual abuse. This method supports you in re-establishing a sense of agency over your body through invitational movement and interoceptive awareness, empowering you to move in ways that feel safe and supportive.
